Our design process studies the client’s needs and budget parameters, brand collateral, project location history, and the functional needs of the space. Through collaboration with the design team and owners, we integrate light into the overall architecture to support its designed components.

Our schematic design packages provide strong visual examples of how light can support the interior design. Budget analysis also begins at the schematic phase and continues through the project’s completion to ensure the highest quality design for the best value.

During the design development phase, small scale mock-ups are produced as needed to verify unique lighting treatments with the owners and the design team, often with innovative new materials and technologies that could potentially benefit the project. Our design drawing sets and specifications includes specific notes explaining the key design treatments, along with clear indications of lighting control zones, and critical lighting details.

We remain proactive through the construction process through frequent communication with the contractors and suppliers to ensure the approved design’s integrity. Our involvement culminates in fixture focusing sessions with the contractor after the interior installation to achieve the final look through precise fixture aiming.
