Scott Hay, Principal
A friend and supporter since the beginning of Reveal Design Group, Scott officially joined the team in 2013. Scott is involved in every project overseeing overall workflow for the entire office. As a designer, Scott draws upon an extensive background in lighting for theater and dance to inform his work in architectural lighting design. His theatrical experience includes work with Center Stage (Baltimore), Hartford Stage, Denver Center Theatre Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Norwegian Cruise Lines America, Pittsburgh Opera, Attack Theatre, and the first national tour of Disney’s The Lion King. Working in found space theatre with Quantum Theatre in Pittsburgh, Scott found ways to establish the building itself as the storyteller, ultimately inspiring a move to architectural lighting, specializing in residential and hospitality design. He has designed high end residences on Park Avenue, the Hamptons, Las Vegas, and Florida. His work on Yotel-NY received an IALD Award and a 2012 IESNY Lumen Award. Scott holds an MFA in Lighting Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
